Evidence-Based Models
APUOE develops and disseminates models of evidence-based practice to resolve issues important to individuals, families, groups, neighborhoods, and communities. Evidence-based practice means using research to inform policy and practice. University Outreach and Engagement's department of University-Community Partnerships staff work with community organizations and agencies who are interested in incorporating evidence-based practice as a model that leads to continuous improvement and better outcomes for the organizations and their clients.
