What Do We Do?

Based on MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon's Boldness by Design imperatives, CERC:

• Enhances the student experience by creating learning opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students that build their evaluation, research, and engagement skills within real-life community contexts under the supervision of experienced evaluators
• Enriches community, economic, and family life through research and evaluation by facilitating communities and organizations to improve their programs, develop successful initiatives, build their capacity to increase responsiveness to stakeholders, and improve their sustainability and funding potential | Go to the Services page for details
• Increases research opportunities through the development of a network of community partnerships that provide settings for community-based research involving multiple disciplines | Go to the Research and Evaluation page to browse our current initiatives and community partners
