About the Magazine
The Engaged Scholar Magazine celebrates Michigan State University's ongoing partnership with Michigan, our nation, and our world. The magazine includes:
- Stories of innovative research and teaching collaborations that illustrate the breadth and depth of MSU's engagement with society;
- News about the University's contributions to and leadership in the scholarship of engagement; and
- Information about resources and services MSU provides to communities, organizations, agencies, and institutions.
The Engaged Scholar is published annually by University Outreach and Engagement, Michigan State University. Each issue has a theme, which may focus on a social issue, a geographic region, a broad-based strategic initiative, or some other topic.
